Apple Says It Slows Down The Performance Of Old iPhones Intentionally, Twitter Is Furious!

However, whenever a person buys an iPhone, they do cry, after all, he/she has to pay a lot. On top of that, the company launched a new phone every year. Every old iPhone users can be seen complaining about the performance and battery life of their phones.
There have been several speculations on the internet and social media, which suggest that the performance of an iPhone decreases after every iOS update. This has been proved by a Twitter user recently. The users reveal that Apple decreases the performance of old iPhone intentionally. He has shared few pictures to prove his point.
Sharing the image, he wrote, “So it’s true Apple intentionally slow down old iPhones. Proof: My iPhone 6 was bought 3years ago and recently got really slow. APP ‘CPU DasherX’ shows iPhone CPU is under clocked running at 600MHz. After a iPhone battery replacement. CPU speed resumed to factory setting 1400MHz”

Apple has clarified the issue saying that it happens because every new iOS update put more load on the processor, as it has to run some advanced functions. In order to avoid shutting down of the phones, they intentionally slow down its performance.
