Anushka Sharma is all set to come out with her second production ‘Phillauri’ and she is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that the movie will be a super hit as well gets critical acclaim just like her first production venture: ‘NH10’. Now, it is extremely interesting to see how convincingly she plays a ghost in this flick. We already have our hopes high up to see her deliver in this movie. Also, it is an added advantage to see her romance Diljit Dosanjh and give us some vintage romantic feels. Now we are damn excited to watch ‘Phillauri’ and needless to say, Anushka Sharma too is running from pillar to post to promote the movie.
Now, she has just revealed Shashi’s (her Phillauri character’s name) contact details on Instagram and we are very very curious to know what holds in store for us. The actress has revealed,
“Have you messaged Shashi , your friendly spirit yet? Activity starts tomorrow!”
Now, she has actually gone way ahead of the usual style of promoting movies. She has shared her personal mobile number and is going to have a Whatsapp video interaction with her fans, but she will be invisible. She will be calling her fans every week. Since she plays the role of a friendly spirit in the movie, this was the apt way to go about promoting her movie.

Anushka Sharma’s next film after Phillauri is Shah Rukh Khan’s The Ring/Rahnuma with Imtiaz Ali. This will be her third time with King Khan and the last ventures: Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan were superhits and so the pressure is huge but it sure is an interesting time for her on a personal and professional level. Her relationship with Virat Kohli is going steady (he CONFIRMED their relationship with an Instagram post the day after Valentine’s Day!) though, she does not talk about it. They have been spotted holidaying and chilling together and are growing from strength to strength as a couple. Here’s wishing all the best to the actress!
