Now there is the latest news regarding the movie. Earlier there were reports that Alia Bhatt or Deepika Padukone might be seen in the movie but now it is confirmed that Anushka Sharma has been roped in for the second lead heroine. Katrina Kaif is also in the lead. This will be for the second time the trio will be seen together after Yash Raj’s Jab Tak Hain Jaan.
Anushka and Shahrukh will be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s next and Aanand L Rai’s movie will be their fourth project together.
Talking about their roles in the movie, Shah Rukh Khan will play a dwarf in the film, Anushka will be seen as a mentally challenged girl, and Katrina will play a normal role.
A source close to the movie said, “After Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt were unable to commit to the film, Aanand approached Anushka. The actress found the role challenging and agreed to do it. She also shares a great rapport with SRK and Katrina and decided to come on board. It’s an exciting film for all the three actors.”
The Phillauri star is busy shooting for her home production Pari and she is yet to schedule her dates for the shoot.
