Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is all set for her grand Bollywood debut with Kedarnath directed by Abhishek Kapoor. The star kid had a lot of offer for her debut, but chosen Kedarnath, after all, it had a gripping story, the acclaimed producer in Prernaa Arora in association with Bhushan Kumar and Ekta Kapoor. However, everything doesn’t look so smooth either. The captain of the ship Abhishek seemed to have blown everything away.
If the latest development has anything to go by, director Abhishek (Gattu) seems bit careless. It seems he never thought that he had a big responsibility of launching Sara Ali Khan, which has made Amrita Singh furious.
All this has led to Amrita Singh being mighty upset. It is pretty obvious, as no mother would like to see any problems with her child’s debut project. In fact, the entire industry is talking about Gattu’s behavior with KriArj.
Everyone in the industry thinks that Gattu should have resolved the issue by talking to each other rather than bringing media into the mix. He should have talked with other parties involved like Ekta Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar to resolve the differences. The mudslinging is never a good solution for anything, especially when the career of a newbie is on the stake.
It is not the first time that Abhishek Kapoor had differences with people in the industry, he has been in fights with many other producers as well. It is true that he will have a tough time finding producers for his next venture unless he changes himself. His anger is his worst enemy. He gets angry for no reason every now and then, which makes matter worst.
Coming to the fights between Gattu and KriArj, it all started when Gattu said that he will clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Zero slated to release on 21st December 2018. Both of them were not on talking terms ever since then. If that was not enough, all of a sudden he asked Rs. 12 Crore for the music rights, Rs. 30 Crore for digital and satellite rights. KriArj was unable to achieve that for obvious reasons.
Now, Gattu has only Rs. 11 Crore to shoot the remaining portion of the film in April, May, and June. Producers are also furious over his commitments, as he extended 5 months shoot to a 16 months film, which completely overturns the budget.
Now coming back to Abhishek aka Gattu’s fallout in the industry, the list is pretty long. He had fallouts with many people in his film career. He got into fights with Farhan Akhtar head honcho of Excel Entertainment during ‘Rock ON!’. He had a fallout with veteran actress Rekha (during Fitoor) and filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia to name a few.
Due to his unprofessional behavior, Kedarnath didn’t have producers until KriArj came on board. However, Gattu has once again thrown that out, all thanks to his unprofessionalism. With the fallout with KriArj, he has landed himself in lots of trouble.
