Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu impressed everyone when they came together for Shoojit Sircar’s Pink. The movie was an instant hit and everyone lauded their strong and powerful performance. The hit pair of Amitabh and Taapsee are all set to come together for Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming murder mystery film.
According to the reports, both lead actors will head to Scotland and London in June to start the filming of the movie. A source close to the project was quoted saying to Mumbai Mirror, “It is a month-long schedule and they will be filming in London and Scotland. The film is a murder mystery which revolves around the duo and Taapsee’s love interest who is a businessman. The shoot kicks off in the second week of June.”
Tentatively titled Badla, the movie is produced by Sunir Kheterpal. The movie is said to be a remake of Oriol Paulo’s Spanish film, Contratiempo/The Invisible Guest. Talking about the remake, the source further added, “It is not a film that we are remaking, it is the script that we are remaking. There is a bit difference (between the two). It is a great screenplay.”
Sujoy Ghosh has starred in 2009 fantasy film Aladin directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Ghosh has produced Mr Bachchan’s Te3n also featuring Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. When asked about Big B in his next film, Sujoy Ghosh had said, “I want to work with one and only Mr Bachchan. He is such a great actor. Till the time Amitji is working, I will continue working.”
