Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been tested negative for COVID-19 and has been discharged from the Nanavati hospital on Sunday.
The news has been shared by his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan, who is also admitted, on his Twitter. He wrote, “🙏🏽 my father, thankfully, has tested negative on his latest Covid-19 test and has been discharged from the hospital. He will now be at home and rest. Thank you all for all your prayers and wishes for him. 🙏🏽”

Abhishek, however, is still positive and will remain in the hospital.

Amitabh and Abhishek were shifted to Nanavati hospital o July 11 after both were found Corona positive. Aishwarya and Aaradhya also were found Covid-19 positive later.
While in the hospital, Amitabh Bachchan shared updates about his health frequently whilst expressing gratitude for all the love and support his family had received in the past few days.
