All work and no play for Ranveer Singh; newlywed groom resumes work for upcoming release, Simmba

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in Italy on 14th and 15th November in a very private ceremony, in the presence of their families and close friends! Post the wedding, the duo are now back in India and have been seen quiet a lot many times at the airport! Their Bangalore Reception too was an interesting affair where the duo posed to the paparazzi and greeted the guests of the evening! Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are yet to host a reception for the Bollywood fraternity, in Mumbai and this reception ceremony has been scheduled on 1st December, 2018 at the Grand Hyatt. It was expected that both Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will be on a break from work atleast till their Mumbai reception get over. But, it seems that the newlywed groom is too dedicated to his work as we hear Ranveer Singh has already resumed work for his movie Simmba!

While the trailer of Simmba releases on December 3, seems like it’s all work and no play for the actor. Just a few days ago, Ranveer shared a heartwarming video on his social media handle dedicated to the director of Simmba, Rohit Shetty. In a speech after the wrap-up, Bollywood’ Bittoo Sharma said, “I hate speeches, but aaj mujhe kuch bolne ka hai. My experience has been 1000 times better than what I expected. The things I have learnt are something I will carry forward in life.” Sharing the video on Instagram, he captioned the video as, “Bhai is Bhai  love you @itsrohitshetty”

Ranveer will next be seen opposite Alia Bhatt in Gully Boy followed by Kabir Khan’s 83 where he will be playing the role of cricket legend Kapil Dev. Ranveer will also be seen in magnum opus, Takht that is being helmed by Karan Johar. Sharing screen space with Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the film will release in 2020. Stay tuned for more updates!
