The biggest New Year Gift for Adnan Sami is that he would be getting Indian Citizenship. On Thursday, officials say that they would grant citizenship to Adnan Sami on Friday. This will be granted after a request was made by him on 26th of May in the Home Ministry.
Adnan stated that this was his biggest New Year Gift and that he is thankful to the government for this. Being a Canadian Citizen, Adnan has been staying since March 2001 on Visa in India. A Visa extension was given to him this year in the month of October.
