Alia Bhatt Opt Out Of Golmaal 4 Because Of The Tiff Between Karan Johar And Ajay Devgn ?

‘Golmaal 4’ is all set to go on the floors in January next year but the lead actress is yet not finalised. Earlier it was reported that Kareena Kapoor Khan only reprises the role but due to her maternity leave, she will not be a part of ‘Golmaal 4’. As Kareena was off the shore, the makers decided to cast Deepika Padukone for Bebo’s part. Even Deepika couldn’t be a part of it as she is all busy for her next ‘Padmavati’. So the makers had left with the three choices- Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra. Well, we all know Alia Bhatt is the best possible option for the makers as all her films do wonder at the Box-Office. Even Alia Bhatt’s manager had a talk with the makers of ‘Golmaal 4’ but not it looks like Alia is not interested in being a part of it. The reason could be related to the tiff between Alia’s mentor Karan Johar and Ajay Devgn. According to an insider, “Her business manager even met Rohit at his office and dates were discussed. All that remained was for her to sign the film. ” Well, thinks were going all ok but due to the recent tiff between Ajay Devgn and Karan Johar, Alia seems have taken a u-turn. “It was put across to them that Alia was busy with Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya and was to sign another biggie by the end of the year and then start shooting for Abhishek Varman’s Shiddat with Varun Dhawan from March next year, so she didn’t have any dates for the Devgn starrer,” added an insider. The insider further said, “Regardless of Karan asking her to be part of G4 or not, it was the only logical outcome. She owes her career to Karan and her loyalties lie with him. How could she work with Ajay after his clash with KJo went ‘nuclear’?.” This is not all, another insider reveals, “Rohit and AJ will only finalise the leading lady after Shivaay’s release. Right now, only talks are on and various possibilities are being discussed. They want to make a big announcement as the film rolls in January next year.” Altogether, it looks like ‘Golmaal 4’ shoots will be delayed due to casting issues. We hope Rohit Shetty finalise the lead actress soon!
