Alia Bhatt opens up about suffering from anxiety, says ‘sometimes, I feel like crying for no reason’
Alia Bhatt, who has just finished her shooting for her upcoming next, Brahmastra, with her beau Ranbir Kapoor has won the best actress award for her movie Raazi, at the Filmfare Awards 2019! The actress, who currently is busy promoting her movie Kalank, got in conversation with media and talked about it! Also, she revealed about the times she has been suffering from anxiety and how she felt like crying without any reasons!

In an interaction with Filmfare, Alia Bhatt shared that while she hasn’t been depressed, she’s been having bouts of anxiety since the past few months.Ā She has been quoted as saying, āI havenāt been depressed but Iāve had bouts of anxiety. It comes and goes. Itās been happening quite a bit since the past five to six months. Itās not like an anxiety attack but I just feel low. Thankfully, Iām aware of it because of my sister. Sheās fought depression. Iāve read her book. No matter how bad it is, I just let myself feel it. Then it passes. Initially, Iād be a little confused. Iād constantly give reasons that itās because of work or maybe Iām tired or havenāt been able to meet anyone… The kind of personality I have, I become a little on the edge,ā she said.

Alia Bhatt said that she’s spoken to her friends about it including Ayan Mukerji, the director of her upcoming film Brahmastra. “I spoke to friends about it. I spoke to Ayan about it, I spoke to my sisterās friend Rohan (Joshi). Everyone told me that youāve got to realise that it will go away. Whatās important is to accept it and not say that youāre fine. If youāre not feeling fine, then you should just say youāre not feeling fine,ā she was quoted as saying.
