Alia Bhatt on prepping for RRR: It’s tough, but I think I’ll be good at it

Alia Bhatt made her debut in the Bollywood Industry with her movie Student of the Year wherein she was shown like a spoilt rich teenager! Her evolution from Shanaya in Student of the Year to Roop in Kalank has been phenomenal! She has played roles of all genres and now its time the girl proves her metal in the south as well! Alia Bhatt is to make her debut in the south with SS Rajamouli’s RRR, opposite Ram Charan and Ajay Devgn! She is to play Sita in RRR and Here’s what Alia Bhatt has to say about prepping up for the movie and learning Telgu!

Talking about the status of the South debut, Alia Bhatt said, “I am prepping for it.” When asked about learning Telugu for RRR, she replied, “It’s tough, but I think I’ll be good at it. I am having fun.” She also expressed her happiness of working with a blockbuster filmmaker like SS Rajamouli, Alia said, “He was on my bucket list of directors. Not only because of Baahubali, of course, that was a very big factor but also because of his imagination. Right from Magadheera to Eega, these concepts are simply mind-blowing. He is truly an artist and understands his audience, the people he is making the film for. His emotions and story are so powerful, likewise with RRR, he has a very powerful story to tell.”

RRR also stars Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn and Samuthirakani in key roles. It is a fictitious story set in the 1920s and based on two legendary freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju. The movie unveils the central characters from their home in Delhi, after which they begin fighting for the country. It is a pan-Indian film painted on a large canvas. RRR will release on July 30, 2020, in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and other Indian languages simultaneously.
