Alia Bhatt on Balancing Motherhood and Career: Finding the Right Roles and Priorities

Alia Bhatt recently opened up about how her priorities have shifted since becoming a mother, acknowledging that balancing her career with motherhood has become more challenging. She shared that it’s no longer easy to pack up and leave for extended periods, highlighting the need for more thoughtful planning before committing to long-term projects. “Now, it’s harder to just pack up and leave for three to four months. I can’t just move bag and baggage for longer periods anymore,” Alia explained.

In a playful exchange, Kareena Kapoor suggested that Ranbir Kapoor would happily stay at home with their daughter Raha while Alia focuses on her career, adding that “he’s obsessed” with their little one. Alia laughed at the comment but clarified that her decisions now involve much deeper considerations. She emphasized that factors such as the storyline, timing, and her genuine passion for the project play a significant role in determining which roles she accepts. Alia is focused on finding the right balance between her career and personal life, ensuring that any project she takes on feels meaningful rather than impulsive.

Ranbir Kapoor, in a previous interview with Instant Bollywood, also shared insights into his journey as a father. When asked about his experience of parenthood, he humorously described himself as being fully involved in his “home production,” referring to his daughter Raha. With a smile, he said, “It’s just the best feeling in the world,” expressing his joy and fulfillment in his new role.

On the professional front, Alia Bhatt is currently working on her upcoming spy thriller *Alpha*, where she stars alongside Sharvari Wagh. She is also set to feature in the much-anticipated film *Love & War*, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which will see her share the screen with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal, making it one of the most exciting projects of the year.
