Alia Bhatt And Her Mom Preached About Benefits of Cracker-Free Diwali, Got Brutally Trolled
One of the biggest festivals in India, Diwali is upon us. B-Town stars are wishing everyone On Diwali in the best way possible. However, some of them are also asking people to celebrate Diwali with lights and diyas rather than firecrackers. Alia Bhatt and her mother fall in this category.
Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan took to Instagram to share a video message asking people to celebrate Diwali without bursting firecrackers because it pollutes the environment. In the video, she also says that the noise created while bursting firecrackers also scare animals and pets.
In the video, Soni Razdan says,
“On behalf of the Asif Bhamla foundation, I would like to wish you all a very very happy and safe Diwali. Please don’t burn firecrackers and help in polluting the environment, instead help to unpollute the environment by not burning firecrackers. And also firecrackers are very disturbing to pets and the animals that we all love so let’s just have a really cool Diwali with lots of Diyas, lots of lights, lots of love and laughter but no firecrackers. Happy Diwali.”

Alia Bhatt also shared the tweet and wrote, “Super mommy! #bhamlafoundation ❤️”

However, Twitter was in no mood to take any lessons from Alia Bhatt and her mother, as they trolled them mercilessly calling them hypocrites. They also asked them why they don’t spread such message on Eid or other festivals. Some of them also slammed them asking why they don’t speak when crackers are burnt in weddings, Christmas, and New Year.
