Bollywood action star Akshay Kumar is one of the most versatile actors in the Industry right now. He mostly works in an array of movies with 100 success rate at the Box-Office. That’s the reason why he has now raised his fees to Rs 50 Crore for his next film!
According to the recent reports that have spurred, it was believed that Director Divya Khosla Kumar has signed Akshay Kumar for her next romantic film. The reports further add that Akshay Kumar has raised his fees to Rs 50 Crore and the director have agreed to pay him to be in the movie.
When we approached Director Divya Khosla Kumar, who recently directed ‘Sanam Re’, for confirming the same, she literally denied the news. She said, “I am still writing the script so how can I approach Akshay? The question of signing him for that amount doesn’t arise. Let my script get complete then I will decide the casting.”
This point of view from the director means that she didn’t yet signed the Khiladi Kumar and will never go to sign him with such exorbitant fees. So, finally it is clear that Akshay is not going to be in Divya’s film but still the question remains that, will he really go to charge such big amount for his next film?
He may charge actually because, in 2015, he has given 4 back to back hits with ‘Baby’, ‘Gabbar Is Back’, ‘Brothers’ and ‘Singh Is Bliing’. This year also he has started with a hit film ‘Airlift’ than ‘Housefull 3’ and now he is all busy with the promotions of his upcoming film ‘Rustom’. So even directors and producers are happy with Akshay Kumar right now and who knows he will get such big fees for one of his upcoming film.
Meanwhile, his latest movie ‘Rustom’ trailer is out and the film is all set to hit the theatres on August 12.
