Akshay Kumar To Play Five Roles In His Next?
After the spectacular success of Rustom (at last tally, the film had done brisk business of around Rs 216+ crore to become the third highest earner of 2016 – the first two being Sultan and Airlift, respectively) Akshay Kumar is ready to turn his attention to his next project.
And recent media reports suggest that he will be teaming up with Mary Kom and Sarbjit director Omung Kumar for this new film, that is titled Five.
Why is the film called Five?
Because it may refer to the number of characters Akshay plays in the film!
According to reports in a leading entertainment portal, Akshay Kumar and Omung’s film is a psychological thriller and the actor will play five distinct characters as per the plot. Will Akshay play someone with multiple personality disorder, or will these actually be five different people he’s portraying? No details have been released so far.
Another news portal states that Omung Kumar is currently hard at work on the screenplay, and has refused to comment on the reports of Akshay’s role – or roles.
Akshay, who has had three blockbusters this year in Airlift, Housefull 3 and Rustom, has a slew of other films coming up, including Toilet, Jolly LLB and the sequel to Robot/Enthiran, starring superstar Rajinikanth.
