Whenever two films clashes on the very day, they face a big loss in their collections. Still, the makers go ahead with the release as they don’t have any option left for them. When asked about both the movies eating each other’s pie (collections), Akshay said, “At least both of us are still assured of eating pie.”
When asked about the clashes and their personal implications, Akshay said, “Box-office clashes are professional hazards and ideally they should not have any personal implications. In a situation where we have 200 movies to be accommodated in 52 weeks, clashes have become unavoidable. I’m aware that (we don’t live in an ideal world). But I’m not willing to draw blood or go to war over a movie.”
Currently, Akshay Kumar is busy with the shooting of his home production Padman along with Sonam Kapoor. He will also be seen in S Shankar’s 2.0, which also stars Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson in key roles.
Overall, Akshay Kumar is very positive with the upcoming clash with SRK’s The Ring!
