Akshay Kumar & Aishwarya Bachchan to share screen in Shankar’s 2.0
Akshay and Aishwarya Bachchan will be sharing screen after 8 years. The duo has worked before in films such as Khakee and Action Replayy. The last movie which they did was Action Replayy in 2010. The film 2.0 is a science fiction, directed by S. Shankar, produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, written by S Shankar. With an estimated budget of 450 crores, the film is considered to be the most expensive film ever in Indian Film industry till date. The film is shot in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously and will be dubbed in additional 15 languages. Superstar Rajnikanth will be starring in the film as Dr.Vaseegaran and Chitti also Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Riyaz Khan, Kalabhavan Shahjon are the cast of the film. A.R Rahman composed the music for the film and the soundtrack has versions in Hindi as well as in Tamil. Aishwarya will be doing a cameo in the film for which she also shot few scenes.
The film’s release date has been postponed a few times citing better amalgamation of Visual Effects. The 2.0 audio launch was a grand event, held in last October. At the event, Akshay said that it was a good learning experience for him. He further added, “I have done 140 films, 2.0 was my 131st film. I can only say that during the making of those 130 films, I got to learn little from every film, but I was learning throughout the shooting of this film. There’s a lot that we have to learn from South because the way they work, we have to understand a lot know. They work in unity and respect each other’s talent, we have to learn that.” The movie is expected to release on August 15, 2018, but the news is yet to be confirmed by the producers. Temporarily, Akshay and Aishwarya are busy working on their respective films ‘Kesari’ and ‘Fanne Khan’.
