Ajay Devgn Too? Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol May Not be Dilwale‘s Only Coup

If news of Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan coming together after five long years for Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale was not reason enough to celebrate, there seems to be another coup on its way. The director may just make the impossible possible, getting SRK and Kajol’s husband, actor Ajay Devgn, together as well in the same frame.

As the over-active Bollywood grapevine has it Ajay Devgn, who is a close friend of Rohit Shetty’s, will make a cameo appearance in the film starring his wife and Badshah Khan. Ajay and Rohit literally began their careers together in 1991’s Phool Aur Kaante and have been a formula for success together in films like the Singham and Gol Maal series.

A lot has been written about Ajay Devgn and SRK not being the best buddies – rumors fueled by the fact that Ajay challenged a big studio arm-twisting exhibitors into reserving screens for their films. Remember the battle between Ajay’s Son Of Sardar and SRK’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan in 2012?

Ajay, who keeps away from award ceremonies and cosy B-town get-togethers, often jokes that if there is one thing he has which the Khans don’t, it is height. But there has never been any public animosity between the two actors ever and, Kajol and SRK apart, it would be nice to see the ing of romance and the man of action together in the same space.
