One of the glorious film pairs, is undoubtedly, Aishwarya & Shah Rukh. Superhit jodi that has produced superhit films with their sparkling chemistry, Mohabbatein(2000) and Devdas(2002) shares a special on-off screen bond together.
But not everything has been sugary sweet about the duo? From the archives of the telly show, Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, Aish herself reveals a brutal truth which is shocking for all their fans! Aish had been replaced in 5 film offers opposite SRK, even after their successful BO record. In Movies like Chalte Chalte, Veer Zaara and Kal Ho Naa Hon, Aishwarya was the first choice, but later replaced by the actresses in those films. Reasons have their own stories, but in this show episode, Aishwarya makes some striking remarks which say a lot in their own words.
“It wasn’t my decision,” she continued saying. “You obviously are taken aback, confused and of course hurt. You wonder about it.” Simi quickly asks her if she ever asked Shah Rukh about his reasons and she tells her, “It’s not in my nature to ask someone. If they have to explain, they will do it on their own. If they never did, they never intend to. The popular couple is going to make a comeback after a span of 14 long years… It will be super exciting for all their fans to see their sparkling chemistry, once again, in the Karan Johar’s anticipated release, Ae Dil Hain Muskil. SRK plays a cameo, where he is seen as the husband of Aishwarya’s role. Karan feels SRK to be lucky for him.
