Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her three-year old daughter Aaradhya, were received with a warm welcome on their arrival at Cannes. The actress, who is a brand ambassador for beauty brand L’Oreal Paris, will be making her appearance at the film festival on the 16th and 18th of May. Aishwarya’s mother also tagged along for the second time to the festival to keep a watchful eye over Aaradhya while her mum is away on official business.
Aishwarya Rai is also expected to unveil the first look of her comeback film ‘Jazba’ at Cannes. The actress will be part of a United Nations panel discussion on gender equality, where the film’s trailer will be premiered.
Cannes film festival appears to be the best platform to unveil ‘Jazbaa’, given Aishwarya’s world wide popularity. The actress plays a gritty lawyer in the film which marks her return to the silver-screen after five years.
Aishwarya has been walking the Cannes red carpet for over a decade now, and after seeing Katrina Kaif scorch the carpet in fiery red, we can’t wait to see what Ash brings to the carpet. Will it once again be something from the past, or will we get to see the star in something more risky.
