After Deepika, Sara, Shraddha Kapoor too arrives at NCB office for questioning over alleged drug links
Ever since Narcotics Control Bureau is investigating the drug syndicate in Bollywood following Sushant Singh Rajput death case, many B’town celebrity names have come under its scanner. To get to the bottom of the Bollywood drug cartel, NCB had sent summons to A-listed stars like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor for today, which is on September 26, after their names surfaced in the agency’s drug probe. This morning has seen a lot of VIP activity at NCB’s Mumbai office as all the big celebrities have reached the DRDO guest house in Colaba, where NCB officials are staying in Mumbai, for questioning in the drug nexus. Where Deepika Padukone was the first among the other two to arrive for the interrogation at around 9:45, Sara Ali Khan arrived a short while back. Now Shraddha Kapoor too has reached to record her statement with the agency in its ongoing drug probe.
‘Baaghi’ actress’ name had cropped up in the drug case after late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty’s talent manager Jaya Saha confessed to have procured CBD oil (an illegal substance) for celebs like Shraddha, Rhea, Sushant, producer Madhu Mantena and others, during her NCB interrogation. However, Shraddha’s name was also given out by SSR’s Pawna island farmhouse boatman who had confessed to have ferried her once to a drug party at the farmhouse, while, few leaked chats too suggested ‘Saaho’ star’s involvement in illegal substances. Meanwhile, Shraddha was seen today leaving from her boyfriend and ace photographer Rohan Shreshta’s home to appear for NCB interrogation.
For the unversed, Sara, Shraddha, Deepika, and her talent managers Karishma and Jaya from KWAN talent management firm are also under NCB scanner. Reportedly, the agency has also grilled KWAN’s CEO and director, Dhruv over his links to the drug syndicate.
