After 25 Years Rajinikanth To Play A Police Officer In This Film, First Look Will Blow Your Mind
Rajinikanth is one superstar who is above everything all. After the massive success of 2.0, the superstar is currently working on his next film. In the leaked pictures from the sets of his upcoming film, Rajinikanth was spotted in Khaki outfits hinting that the 68-year-old actor will be playing a police officer after a long gap of 25 years.
Amidst huge anticipation and excitement, Lyca Production has unveiled the first poster of Rajni’s next titled ‘Darbar: You Decide Whether You Want Me To Be Good, Bad, Worse’. Written and directed by acclaimed director AR Murugadoss, the movie was previously titled ‘Thalaivar 167’.
Legendary actor Rajinikanth will be seen portraying an IPS officer in this film, which looks another blockbuster in making. The first look poster doesn’t reveal too much about the film, which will be set in Mumbai. The movie is slated to release on Pongal.

Darbar also marks the third collaboration of Rajinikanth with Lyca Production. Before this, they have worked together on ‘Kaala’ and ‘2.0’ also starring Akshay Kumar. Rajinikanth had played a police officer in movies like Pandian, Kodi Parakuthu and Moondru Mugam. After more than two decades, he will be playing a police officer once again on the big screen.
Nayanthara will play the female lead in the movie, who has also worked with superstars in films like Shivaji, Kuselan and Chandramukhi.
The first poster of Darbar has raised the anticipation of fans, who can’t wait for the movie to release.
