She said ” Mujhe mere he ghar mein jaana allowed nahi hai kyuki Adnaan kehta hai ki yeh uska ghar hai woh bada (rent) deta hai ” . Iffat has filed an FIR accusing Adnaan of physically assaulting both her and her father-in-law.
According to Iffat, she has endured abuse from her brother for years but remained silent. However, when the violence extended to her father-in-law, she decided enough was enough and took legal action. Iffat explained that she had tried to report the abuse on previous occasions, but the police always found ways to dismiss her complaints. This time, after the alleged assault on her and her father-in-law, she made sure to press charges, confirming outside the Bangur Nagar police station in Goregaon that an FIR had been lodged against Adnaan.
In his defense, Adnaan turned to social media, denying the allegations and expressing his frustration over the situation. He accused Iffat of fabricating the complaints and spreading false information. Adnaan also showed faith in the Mumbai police, confident that they would handle the matter fairly and uncover the truth. As the investigation continues, tensions remain high between the siblings.
Adding to the controversy, Iffat also claimed that Adnaan’s wife, who goes by the name Ayesha, was originally named Riddhi and had converted to Islam just before their marriage.
