It’s none other than Ranveer Singh. As per the reports, Befikre actor is all set to work with Kabir in his next, scheduled after Tubelight for a film which is based on India’s World Cup Victory in 1983. As per a source, “If all goes well, Ranveer might start working on the project after completing Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati.”
It is said that Kabir‘s film will be a biopic of sorts that will showcase the situation of India in the 80’s and focus on the struggles of the then cricket team.
Incidentally, it was Ranveer’s baba, Arjun Kapoor who was first offered the film! No clue what happened to that. But seems things will fall in place for Ranveer and Kabir as they are in advance stage of discussions.
