Actor Faraaz Khan dies due to Neurological Disorder; Salman paid his medical bills

Bollywood actor Faraaz Khan, who has appeared in many popular movies of late 90’s like ‘Mehendi’ and ‘Fareb’ breathed his last on Wednesday fighting a prolonged illness. The 46-year-old actor was admitted to a hospital after suffering from chest infection and was also receiving treatment for neurological disorder, that took his life today. His medical treatment bills were funded by actor Salman Khan due to Faraaz’s financial crisis. The news of his demise was shared by Pooja Bhatt with a heavy heart on her Twitter account.

Pooja Bhatt tweeted, “With a heavy heart I break the news that #FaraazKhan has left us for what I believe, is a better place. Gratitude to all for your help & good wishes when he needed it most. Please keep his family in your thoughts & prayers. The void he has left behind will be impossible to fill” Pooja Bhatt was amongst the other celebrities who were gathering funds for Faraaz’s medical treatment.

Earlier, appreciating Salman Khan for funding Faraaz’s medical treatment, Kashmera Shah had written, “You are truly a great Human Being. Thank you for taking care of Faraaz Khan and his medical bills. Actor Faraaz Khan of Fareb fame is in critical condition and Salman has stood by his side and helped him like he helps so many others. I am and will always remain a true admirer. If people don’t like this post I don’t care. You have a choice to unfollow me. This is what I think and feel. I think he is the most genuine person I have ever met in this film industry @beingsalmankhan”

To note, Faraaz’s family was facing financial crises and had asked for financial help while also setting up a fundraising platform to raise Rs. 25 lakhs for his treatment. As his brother and ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ famed actor, Fahmaan Khan, urged for financial help Being Human of Bollywood, Salman Khan, came forward and took care of late actor’s medical bills.
