ABCD 2 continued to find audience in the second weekend as well as it dominated the box office. With newer releases failing to make any impression whatsoever, it was time for the Remo D’Souza directed dance film to keep the audience entertained. As a result, around 17 crore* more came in with the film’s collections soaring to the 88 crore* mark. The film is keeping its date with the 100 crore mark and would manage to hit the mark in the third week for sure.
New releases of the week, Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho and Uvaa, could not stir up any action at the box office. None of the two films could manage any critical acclaim either that may just have managed to excite the audience. Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho had some controversy going in its favour but that did not make much of a difference to the box office fortunes of the film as it gathered just around 1 crore over the weekend. On the other hand Uvaa couldn’t even gather a good release and turned out to be a complete washout.
Bezuban Ishq, which was supposed to release as well, has been pushed ahead and is now expected to arrive on the coming Friday.
