The main protagonist, Deepika Padukone and the makers of Padmavati has been facing the backlash from different kinds of people all over the country, there are many stars who have come out supporting the film. The top Bollywood stars, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have joined the sides of Padmavati.
According to DNA, “The moment Aamir read the news, he immediately called up Deepika to check on her. He was extremely concerned about her. Aamir and Deepika had a long conversation about the whole scenario and he assured her of being there for her if needed.”
The source also added, “Deepika’s other co-stars including Shah Rukh Khan also called Deepika. Everyone has expressed concern. Deepika, on the other hand, is maintaining an extremely strong stand.”
However, the state governments of Punjab and Madhya Pradesh have banned the film in their respective states. Moreover, Rajasthan’s CM Vasundhara Raje and Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya have said that they’ll not allow the film to release in their states unless the controversies get over and the necessary changes are made.
Since its inception, the film has been facing lots of issues. From vandalizing the sets to the Director being slapped by a member of Karni Sena, the film had faced plenty of hurdles. The film is so close to the release, the politicians have added more trouble to the makers of Padmavati. Due to such kind of issues, they have postponed the release date of the controversial movie Padmavati, which has been scheduled earlier on December 1, 2017.
There are great possibilities of the movie being pushed in the year 2018. The high-budget movie starring Padmavati stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh – Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
