A fan dies due to Heart Attack while watching Devera
In an unfortunate incident, a fan of Jr NTR, Mastan Ali, tragically passed away due to a heart attack while watching *Devara* on Friday. Ali, a young fan, was attending the first special screening of the film, commonly known as the fans’ show, at Apsara Theater in Kadapa. Like many others, he was enthusiastically cheering and enjoying the action-packed scenes when he suddenly collapsed in the theater, leaving everyone in shock.
Heart attacks, medically known as myocardial infarctions, can occur due to a variety of reasons, many of which are linked to lifestyle, genetics, and even stress. One of the most common causes is coronary artery disease (CAD), where the arteries that supply blood to the heart become narrowed or blocked by plaque buildup. This restricts blood flow and can trigger a heart attack, especially during moments of physical or emotional stress. For fans like Mastan Ali, the excitement and adrenaline rush of watching their favorite star’s movie could elevate stress levels and put additional strain on the heart.
Other causes of heart attacks include high blood pressure (hypertension), high cholesterol levels, smoking, and diabetes, all of which increase the risk of heart problems over time. Obesity and lack of physical activity also contribute to heart disease by causing plaque accumulation in the arteries. In young individuals, heart attacks can sometimes be caused by undiagnosed congenital heart conditions or arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats). In rare cases, a sudden spike in adrenaline due to excitement or anxiety can lead to a condition called “stress cardiomyopathy” or “broken heart syndrome,” where the heart muscles temporarily weaken, mimicking the symptoms of a heart attack.
In recent years, increasing stress levels, unhealthy lifestyles, and high levels of anxiety among younger populations have made heart attacks more common even in people under 40. Events like this serve as a somber reminder of the importance of heart health, regular check-ups, and managing stress in our everyday lives.
