Bollywood celebrities endorse several products and why not they enjoy a massive fan following all across the world. More often than not, fans want to follow their favorite superstars and they also copy them. However, there have been certain products like tobacco, liquor and more, which are harmful to health. But still, some celebrities promote such products, which often raise questions.
Ajay Devgn is one of the most loved and popular superstars, who has given several blockbuster films over the years. He also promotes several products including a tobacco brand. Singham actor has always received criticism for promoting the tobacco brand. Now, one of his fans 40-year-old Nanakram from Rajasthan has urged him to not promote the tobacco products for the betterment of the society.
Nanakram’s son Dinesh Meena said that his father started taking tobacco product a few years ago. He started taking it as he was a fan of Ajay Devgn and the tobacco brand was promoted by his favorite actor.
But once he was diagnosed with cancer, he has realized how much tobacco products affect one’s health. This is why he is appealing to Ajay to stop promoting such brands. Approx 100 pamphlets are distributed and pasted on the walls of Sanganer, Jagatpura and other neighboring areas. These pamphlets addressed to Devgn tell how much tobacco he and his family consumed.
In these pamphlets, he said the celebrities should not endorse products like liquor, cigarettes, and tobacco, as it is harmful to health. Nanakram who used to run a tea stall is now unable to speak. Now, he sells makes to look after his family.
