A 95-Yr Man From Odisha Dies Waiting In A Queue To Cast His Vote
The second phase of Lok Sabha Election 2019 is underway on 95 seats spread across 11 states and one Union Territory. Tamil Nadu will vote for 38 out of 39 seats. Key states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, West Bengal, Karnataka, and Odisha will vote today. People are coming to vote in huge numbers all across the country.
However, a 95-year-old man in Odisha died while standing in a queue to cast his vote in the ongoing second phase of Lok Sabha Election 2019. The deceased named Natabara Behera was waiting in the queue at Kansamari under Sanakhemundi block of Ganjam district today.
According to a report of the local news portal, Natabara accompanied by his family members went to the polling booth at Kansamari today morning. When he was waiting in the queue outside the polling booth, he fainted and collapsed on the ground. His family members rushed him to the hospital. However, doctors at the hospital declared him dead.
It is being reported that elderly Natabara died due to sunstroke.
