The festival was officially inaugurated on October 14th by the gracious Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The opening ceremony was a star-studded affair. Mumbai Film Festival offers a range of exciting movies to watch. Viewers have an array of choice at the festival this year from documentaries to short film to major films. On day 2 of Mumbai Film Festival 2014 organized by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Images (MAMI) Deepika Padukone walked the red carpet.
Deepika looked stunning in her Varun Bahl jacket paired with a simple white shirt and matching pants. The actress was the centre of attention catching eye of every beholder with a pulled back bun, Dior earrings, Christian Louboutin nude peep-toes and red lips she was styled by Shaleena Nathani. While the event was high on crowd meter, it also scored well on style quotient. While Varun went for a laid-back look in jeans and jacket, Imran opted for formals.
The afternoon session included a talk between with Lifetime Achievement Award winner French actress Catherine Deneuve and bollywood diva Deepika Padukone they shared their experience and views on the difference between films in India, Europe and other international cinemas. Others spotted on Day 2 were Kritika Kamra, Meiyang Chang, Vishal Bhardwaj and Kiran Rao
