They are truly a multi-cultural couple. One of the high points of coming from different backgrounds is that you get to celebrate diversity, and festivals are one of the best ways to do so. One of TV’s most loved couples, Vivian Dsena and Vahbiz Dorabjee fully believe in this ideology. The couple likes to enjoy almost every festival be it Diwali, Navratri or X’mas. However, celebrations for them are all about spending quality time with family. “More than materialistic things, we cherish each other’s company and the inside jokes that make us instantly crack up,” says Vivian, who’s just back from Argentina where he went for Khatron Ke Khiladi.
When we visited their home, we were greeted with a beautiful Christmas wreath on the door. Looking resplendent in a red dress with golden heels, Vahbiz ushered us in. A beautiful Christmas tree was placed in the living room with built-in lights with hues of silver, golden, pink, green and red. A cute little snowman sat next to the tree. Vahbiz told us that the couple had spent the entire Wednesday doing up the tree and their home.
During the interview, Vivian spoke about his Catholic Anglo-Indian roots and what X’mas meant in his hometown, Ujjain. Fond memories of food, family and festivities were relived. However, the best part of the interview was when we asked them to play secret Santa to a host of celebs ranging from Vivian’s first co-star Sukirti Khandpal from Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahaani to buddiesSuyyash Rai and Kishwer Merchantt, Salman Khan and Sunny Leone.
