Wedding Pulav will mark Karan’s debut into Bollywood. India-Forums asked him how excited he was to perform on the big screen.
The actor answered, “To be honest, taking up a Bollywood movie was an unplanned development in my life. It was not something I anticipated and frankly the choice for your debut is kind of limited when you don’t belong to a film family. But with Wedding Pulav happening, I have started believing that every individual needs to ‘go with the flow’.“
Karan also mentioned of how it is difficult for an actor to establish themselves in the initial stage without a God father. But after getting a break, it depends on the actor on how successful they are in proving their mettle on-screen irrespective of whether thy have their family or godfather to support them.
Further, Forum asked him about his experience shooting with Shashi Ranjan’s daughter Anushka Ranjan who also makes her debut in Bollywood.
On sharing screen space with her, Karan averred, “Anushka is an emotional brat. She gets affected by smallest of gestures in a good and a bad way. She has a crazy sense of positivity and that is very contagious, she is extremely hard working and has a crazy energy about her which is evident on screen. Plus she is almost 5’11”, the tallest co-star I have worked with so far!“
Karan added, “I usually workout every day for an hour. I try doing about half an hour of weight training, 15-20 min cardio and 15-20 min free hand body weight or functional training. I try limiting my alcohol in-take, I don’t smoke and try very hard to not eat too much of sweet food, that being my weakness.”
