Bajrangi Bhaijaan box office collection: First Salman Khan movie to cross ₹300 crore in India
A movie which has won millions of hearts was destined to create box office history by shattering all the previous records. Kabir Khan directorial ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ made Bollywood superstar Salman Khan the second Indian actor to enter ₹300 crore club at the Indian box office. The movie on its third Wednesday collected ₹2.45 crore taking the domectic total of Harshaali Malhotra starrer to ₹300.06 crore.
The ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ actor has yet again proved his stardom and it wouldn’t be wrong to say, no other actor would have been able to pull off ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ the way Salman did. At the time of movie release, it was predicted that the movie will create history as actors like Aamir Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Gauhar Khan were seen with wet eyes, making fans understand the potential of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
If sources are to be believed, sister of Salman Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma is planning a grand bash to celebrate success of the movie and guests list will include top actors and directors on the industry. After Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ which was directed by Rajkumar Hirani, its Salman’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ which crossed ₹300 crore mark domestically, making Kabir Khan a dream director for many.
