Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is currently celebrating the success of her film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ expressed her desire to become a mother, but not for the next two to three years. In a recent interview, the ‘Heroine’ actress, who got married to her ‘Tashan’ co-star in 2012 said, ”As of now there are no plans and I am very clear about it. Of course I will be a mother someday, but not for the next two or three years. It is not even a thought.”
Unlike many other Bollywood actresses who limit the number of films they do after getting married, Bebo has continued to doing all kinds of films.
“Despite being married, I chose to do good entertaining films including commercial films. It is difficult to balance. It is important for an actress to do everything”, said the ‘Talaash’ actress. Kareena made her debut with Refugee and she is been in the industry for 16 years now. Right from playing a bubbly girl in ‘Khushi’ to a sex worker in ‘Chameli’, Kareena has come really a long way keeping up with her variety of films.
“Playing Anil Kapoor’s wife in Bewafaa to Arjun Kapoor’s partner in director R Balki’s upcoming film, for me it is a journey. I am still working with all the Khans in the industry. I was working from very young age,” she said. She also talks about continuing with her experiments.
Speaking about her career, she expressed her desire to set an example before girls who usually compromise with their career after marriage.”I am not an insecure person. I am happy that after so many years I am still working, I am happy, independent and I am married. I would like to be an example for many young girls that they can be married and still flourish in their career,” said the 34 year old actress.
