The Upcoming Movie of Shah Rukh Khan which was slated to release on this diwali(2014) was postponed to release after diwali. This decision of Postponing has been taken by the SRK says the sources though Farah Khan has no objection in releasing on the festival day (october 23,2014).

Shah Rukh Thinks that many people will be busy in the festival events and pooja due to which there may be less members attending the movie theatres. So, he think after the festival will be a good choice i,e. on 24th,October 2014
