Dhanush’s ‘Anegan’ Box Office – Worldwide Collection Report
Dhanush’s Anegan has collected Rs.55 crore worldwide in three weeks. As per the latest reports the major contribution Rs.35 crore was only from Tamil Nadu while the worldwide gross is Rs.55 crore. Sources say that not only producer even distributors made profits on this movie.
Dhanush’s previous project Velaiyilla Pattathari had also made Rs.60 crore collection in three weeks. But the margin of profit was high compared to Anegan as that movie was not an expensive film.
Anegan carried a good pre-talk led to positive reviews. The Tamil film had collected Rs.6.55 crore in Tamil Nadu on the first day and earned Rs.4.8 crore on the second day and ₹5.5 crore on the third day to take its first weekend total to Rs.16.1 crore.
Despite of tough competitions from Yennai Arindhaal which was released on 5th February and Kaaki Sattai which was released last week, Anegan held its grip at box office.
Anegan starring Dhanush, Amyra Dastur and Karthik is directed by KV Anand and produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram. Music composed by Harris Jayaraj and Anthony took charge at editing table.
