The pre-release event of Kuberaa witnessed an evening of heartfelt tributes, cinematic pride, and collective excitement, as the film’s cast and crew gathered in Hyderabad ahead of its highly anticipated release.
Speaking at the event, Nagarjuna Akkineni expressed deep admiration for his co-star Dhanush, calling it an âhonourâ to share screen space with the National Award-winning actor. âDhanush, it was fantastic working with you. I feel itâs an honour. Iâve seen your films, and I saw you on the setsâthe way you get into the character is just outstanding. God bless you with much, much more glory and success,â Nagarjuna said.
Shifting focus to the soul behind the film, Nagarjuna reserved his highest praise for director Sekhar Kammula. âTo talk about Kuberaa, I remember only one personâSekhar Kammula. This is not my film, not Dhanushâs film, not Rashmikaâs film, not anyone elseâs film. Itâs only Sekhar Kammulaâs film. All of us are characters in his story,â he stated, lauding the filmmaker for stepping out of his comfort zone to craft something truly distinctive.
âNot only did he come out of his comfort zoneâhe also brought us out of ours. After many days, this is a film that truly worked through teamwork. It was just a fantastic experience,â the veteran actor added.
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sekhar Kammula, Kuberaa features a stellar ensemble cast including Nagarjuna, Dhanush, and Rashmika Mandanna. The filmâs music is composed by rockstar Devi Sri Prasad (DSP).
Backed by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, the film is co-produced by Vipul Agarwal and Manish Vasisth. Mugafi serves as the Presenter for the North of India, also leading the filmâs distribution across the northern region.
Presented in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, Kuberaa is primed to captivate audiences across the country with its compelling storytelling and cross-cultural appeal. Kuberaa is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on 20th June 2025.
