The woman claimed Kapoor invited her to his residence under the guise of discussing a professional project. She alleged inappropriate behavior, including physical advances and objectionable messages sent via WhatsApp.

The FIR cites sections 74, 75, and 79 of the Indian Penal Code, addressing assault, sexual harassment, and insulting the modesty of a woman.

Sharad Kapoor’s Response

Kapoor, currently in Kolkata, has dismissed the claims, stating, “The incident did not occur. I have no idea why this case was filed against me.” He added that the police contacted him after his return from New York.
