Kartik Aaryan Admits to Staying Single for 2 Years Due to ‘Strict Athlete Lifestyle’ for *Chandu Champion*: ‘No Need to Send My Live Location…’

Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan recently opened up about his personal life amid ongoing dating rumors, sharing that he has been single for the past two years due to his rigorous training for *Chandu Champion*. Known for his dedication, Kartik humorously remarked that singlehood has spared him from having to share his ‘live location’ with anyone.

In an interview with Mashable India, Kartik revealed that his intense focus on preparing for the film left no time for relationships or even dating apps. He adopted an athlete’s strict lifestyle, dedicating himself fully to the role and embracing the independence that comes with it. He said, “I am single. I don’t have to send my live location to anyone. I am not even present in any dating applications. Technically, since the time I have been preparing and shooting for *Chandu Champion*, I didn’t get the time.”

Kartik described the comprehensive preparation required for the role, including a disciplined routine that mirrored that of a professional athlete. This commitment involved meticulous tracking of his workouts, diet, and sleep schedule for over two years. The training was not just for show—Kartik even learned to swim for the first time to meet the physical demands of his character.

The filming of *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3* overlapped with his training, adding to his packed schedule and leaving little room for a personal life.

Kartik’s portrayal of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympics gold medalist, in *Chandu Champion* earned him significant praise. His physical transformation for the role was achieved naturally, without artificial supplements. His fitness coach, Tridev Pandey, shared with Wion that their training focused on holistic fitness rather than just muscle gain. The regimen included skill sessions and drills such as boxing, handstand push-ups, headstands, skipping, and rope climbs. Pandey highlighted that achieving peak physical form required consistent hard work and teamwork.
