“‘Salman Khan Should Seek Forgiveness at a Temple,’ Says Farmer Leader Rakesh Tikait Amid Death Threats from Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi”

Salman Khan continues to face threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi over the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, prompting farmer leader Rakesh Tikait to advise the actor to seek forgiveness by visiting a temple. Tikait referred to Bishnoi as a “badmaash aadmi” (a dangerous man) and suggested that this issue affects society at large, transcending Salman’s personal safety.

In a recent statement, Tikait highlighted the community aspect of the matter, urging Salman to make amends through a temple visit. He stated, “Salman Khan ko mandir jaa kar maafi maang leni chahiye, nahi toh jail mein band aadmi pata nahi kab tapakwa de,” emphasizing the unpredictability of threats from someone behind bars.

Following several death threats from Bishnoi’s gang, which are linked to the blackbuck case, Salman has been under heightened security. The issue dates back to 1998, during the filming of *Hum Saath Saath Hain* in Rajasthan, when Salman was implicated in the blackbuck killing, leading to an ongoing legal battle. Since then, he has faced arrests, bail releases, and prolonged court proceedings, with Bishnoi’s gang periodically threatening his life in response.

Recently, Salman’s Mumbai residence witnessed gunfire, heightening security concerns. The situation further escalated after Baba Siddique’s murder, with Bishnoi supporters burning effigies of Salman and his father, Salim Khan, in protest. This public demonstration was sparked by what they perceived as misleading statements in the poaching case.

Earlier, Salim Khan defended his son in an interview with ABP Live, asserting that Salman was not involved in the incident and would never harm animals due to his strong affection for wildlife. Salim’s passionate statements reflect the Khan family’s stance as they continue to navigate this turbulent situation.
