The first look of the Bigg Boss 18 house has been revealed, and as always, it’s generating a buzz among fans. Each season, the Bigg Boss house is designed around a unique theme, and this year is no different with its intriguing *Time Ka Tandav* concept, blending the past, present, and future. Let’s take a closer look at the standout features of this year’s house.
The garden area has undergone a significant transformation. It’s now split into two sections: the main garden and the poolside. Separating the two is a stunning waterfall, which adds a calming touch amidst the usual chaos of the Bigg Boss environment. The outdoor area has been designed with a traditional twist, evoking a sense of ancient times and offering a peaceful space for the contestants to relax.
The living room is spacious and inviting, with multiple corners designated for private chats between housemates. Overlooking the entire living area is a balcony, providing a new vantage point that will surely be utilized during dramatic moments. The room’s layout, with various seating arrangements, seems to encourage the formation of smaller, more intimate groups among the contestants.

One of the more exciting returns this season is the reintroduction of the jail. This time, it’s designed to look like a cave, complete with basic necessities like a bed and blanket. There’s also a phone installed in the jail, hinting that Bigg Boss might directly communicate with the unlucky inmate. The jail setup is sure to be a source of tension and drama throughout the season.
In a nod to the original format, the house features a single bedroom with beds placed at different levels, adding a layer of mystery that will unfold as the season progresses.
Set designer Omung Kumar shared insights into the inspiration behind the house’s design, explaining that the makers wanted to evoke the past without leaning too heavily on traditional palace designs. “We looked back to ancient civilizations and created caves, hand paintings, and stone carvings to reflect India’s rich heritage,” he said.
With the house now ready, fans are eagerly anticipating the season premiere. Salman Khan has already begun filming, and contestants are set to enter soon. Viral photos of internet personality Anirudh Acharya have already sparked further excitement, adding to the anticipation of what’s sure to be a thrilling season of Bigg Boss.
