During a candid chat with comedian Raunaq Rajani on the Netflix India YouTube channel, Ananya revealed that she had unintentionally shared Suhana’s number on social media and only realized it later, after a frantic call from Suhana.
Ananya recalled the incident, saying, “I was trying to FaceTime her, but she wasn’t picking up. So, I took a screenshot and posted it on Instagram with a caption saying, ‘Missing Suhana, she’s not answering.’” What Ananya didn’t realize at the time was that Suhana’s phone number was visible in the screenshot. A while later, Suhana called her in a panic, exclaiming, ‘My number got hacked!’ Ananya, unaware of what she had done, played innocent, responding, ‘Oh my God, what happened?’ Although Ananya quickly deleted the post, it was too late—someone had already informed Suhana that her number was leaked by Ananya.
The lighthearted conversation also revealed that this wasn’t the first time Ananya had accidentally leaked a phone number. In fact, she had once leaked her own number during an interview. Ananya explained that a reporter had asked for her number for journalistic purposes. Without thinking, she shared it, but the interview had already begun recording, and her number ended up being posted on YouTube for the world to see.
