Tripti Dimri clarifies on the recent controvery around her . She says….
A day after entrepreneurs in Jaipur accused actor Triptii Dimri of skipping an event despite being paid for her appearance, the actor has finally addressed the controversy. The organisers of the Nari Shakti event, hosted by FICCI FLO’s Jaipur chapter, claimed that Triptii had committed to attending their event on Tuesday but failed to show up. This led to backlash from the local business community. However, the actor has now denied these allegations.
Triptii Dimri, known for her roles in *Qala* and *Animal*, issued a statement through her spokesperson, clarifying her position. According to the statement, Triptii honored all her professional commitments in Jaipur, specifically related to the promotional campaign for her upcoming film *Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video*. The spokesperson emphasized that Triptii participated in all scheduled events tied to the movie’s promotion and did not commit to any other engagements outside her promotional duties.
The statement also refuted the organisers’ claims that she had agreed to attend the event or received any payment for her supposed participation. “It’s important to note that Triptii did not accept any additional fees or make any promises to attend non-promotional events,” the statement clarified.
The controversy began when it was reported that Triptii was expected to appear at the Nari Shakti event, held at a hotel on Jaipur’s JLN Marg. One of the entrepreneurs behind the event alleged that they had agreed to pay Triptii ₹5.5 lakh for her appearance. They further claimed that legal action would be taken against the actor, and called for a boycott of her and her film.
In a viral video from the event, frustrated attendees were seen defacing a poster of Triptii and demanding her boycott. The poster was subsequently removed, escalating the situation further. Despite the backlash, Triptii Dimri remains firm in her stance, denying any wrongdoing.
