Does Saif Wants Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister of India ?

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan recently commended Congress leader and Opposition figure Rahul Gandhi for his courage and ability to handle criticism with grace. Speaking at the India Today Conclave, Khan remarked, “I admire a politician who is brave and honest.”

When asked which political leader—Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, or AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal—he considers capable of leading India into the future, Khan responded that all three exhibit bravery in their own ways.

He went on to highlight Rahul Gandhi’s journey, noting how Gandhi overcame the ridicule he once faced. “What Rahul Gandhi has achieved is truly remarkable. There was a time when he was met with disrespect for his views and actions. But through hard work and perseverance, he has managed to change that narrative in a very intriguing way,” Khan explained.

A video of Khan’s comments has since gone viral on social media.

The actor made it clear, however, that he has no interest in entering politics and refrained from expressing explicit support for any political party. “I aim to stay apolitical in my perspective. One thing I’m grateful for is that democracy in India is alive and flourishing,” he said.

“I’m not a politician, nor do I wish to become one. If I had strong political opinions, I think I’d pursue that path and share them accordingly,” Khan concluded.
