Sushant case: Jaya Saha confesses to have arranged CBD oil for SSR, Rhea, Shraddha Kapoor

Narcotics Control Bureau’s investigation over the drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput death case has brought many big names from the industry on a public forum for doing and dealing in illegal substances. With each passing day, a new name from the industry is coming to light for his/her involvement in the drugs. From Rhea Chakraborty, who’s name was cropped up first in drugs after Enforcement Directorate got its hands on a deleted WhatsApp drug chat from the actress Mobile, thus, involving NCB, later, A-listed stars like, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, designer Simone Khambatta, Deepika Padukone, Dia Mirza, and many others reportedly followed the long list. But as per recent reports, another suspect involved in illegal substance, talent manager of Sushant from KWAN talent management firm, in her questioning to NCB has confessed to have arranged CBD oil for the late actor, Rhea, Shraddha Kapoor, and others.

Jaya Saha’s name had surfaced in drug angle after Rhea’s chat from the WhatsApp group had gone viral where Jaya was instructing the ‘Sonali cables’ actress to add few drops of some illegal substance (CBD oil) in SSR’s drink and make the actor drink it, which will in 15-20 min kick in. It didn’t take NCB much time to flung in action and send summon to Jaya over these suspicious chats. Reportedly, Jaya in her two days questioning admitted that she arranged CBD oil for SSR, Rhea Chakraborty, actress Shraddha Kapoor and also for Anurag Kashyap’s former business partner Madhu Mantena as well.

Meanwhile, reportedly, SSR’s talent manager also shared her last conversation with SSR on June 5, a few days before his demise. In her statement, she alleged that it was purely professional and she had called him for a film project. She also shared her meeting with Sushant from March 2020, where she mentioned that the late actor was not keeping well and would often start walking, go inside the bedroom, and then return back. On the professional front, Jaya Saha had helped Sushant with films like ‘Drive’, ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Sonchiriya’, ‘Dil Bechara’, ‘Chhichhore’ and several other big movies. Jaya not only got SSR his last movie but also helped him get 21 endorsements. Jaya has also been questioned by the ED over money related probe.

So, far, the prime accused in SSR’s case, Rhea Chakraborty, is currently under judicial custody with NCB after she was arrested by the agency on September 8 over several NDPS charges and had been granted 14-days judicial custody by the court which was to end on Tuesday but a NDPS court, however, extended her custody till October 6. Her bail pleas too have been rejected by the Magistrate and session court of Mumbai and her fresh bail application which was to be addressed today by the Bombay High Court has also been deferred for hearing on September 24 due to heavy rainfall in the city.
