Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik were denied bail by Mumbai special court after the NCB arrested them and took them into 14-day custody in connection to a drug angle linked with Sushant’s alleged suicide case.
The actress, however, has constantly been denying dealing in drugs and also pleaded not guilty and claimed to be “innocent” in front of the court during her bail hearings. But if the reports are to be believed the evidences seem to differ from what is being said by the ‘Jalebi’ actress.
The latest updates by a media channel purported that a delivery boy has revealed to Narcotics Control Bureau about delivering drugs to Rhea’s home address during the Coronavirus lockdown. The delivery boy claims to have delivered 500 gms of Marijuana at Rhea’s residence and also that her brother Showik Chakraborty and SSR’s house help Dipesh Sawant were her accomplice.
The same report also suggests that the boy also claimed that they used to deliver the packets along with other household items and they were delivered to Rheas’s brother, Showik. Meanwhile, NCB is reported to have interrogated the delivery boy who allegedly identified two people; Showik and house help Dipesh.
Meanwhile, Rhea and Showik will reportedly approach the Bombay High Court, challenging the sessions court’s order of rejecting their bail plea. Also, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is reported to soon register another case on the basis of the findings of the NCB, which has recently arrested Rhea, Showik, Samuel Miranda and SSR’s house help Dipesh Sawant on the charges of procuring drugs.
