However, as per recent progressions the makers are still finalizing the contestants for upcoming edition for which online auditions have already begun. As per insiders, the makers are trying their best to keep the budget as low as possible due to the financial crunch.
After the huge success of ‘Bigg Boss 13’ stakes are high for this season. With the efforts of its creative team that come up with a new theme every year, this Bigg Boss season 14 will be a lot more exciting. But due to Covid-19 pandemic, the lockdown issues, and financial crunch the contestants’ contracts are being revised this year.
It is to be mentioned as per reports, the participants were paid on a weekly basis, but this time it’s gonna be different. If inside news is to be believed, the makers of Bigg Boss are planning to keep only five celebrities in this season out of 16 contestants to manage the budget.
What makes this Covid-19 Bigg Boss more unique is that this time contestants would be eliminated based on their hygiene, and temperature checks will be conducted on a daily basis. Not only will this but contestants with high immunity be allowed to participate in the show. If the participants fall ill, they will be disqualified and won’t be paid.
