- In one of his recent tweets, Bollywood star R Madhavan said that he merely scored 58% when he appeared for his school board exams. In the highly inspiring post, the actor addressed all the students who were disappointed with their board exam results.
His tweet said, “To all those who just got their board results– congratulations to those who exceeded their expectations and aced it … and to the rest I want to say I got 58% on my board exams.. The game has not even started yet my dear friends.”
Funny thing is, instead of appreciating the kind words of the actor, the netizens were more interested in knowing how did he get himself to be light-skinned.
A person replied to his twitter, “I really appreciate you being honest about your marks. Just using this opportunity to ask, since it’s quite visible from this old pic as well, what product or procedure you used to lighten your skin? Genuine interested in knowing the secret. Thank you.”
The actor took no offense and responded calmly as he said, “I never believed in wanting to NOT be who I am — nor felt apologetic for looking the way I did. You shouldn’t either bro. Just look and be hygienic .. most attractive way to look… I tan easily when I play golf — that is all there is to it.”
On the work front, the actor will soon be seen in the film, “Rocketry: The Nambi Effect” a biographical drama based on the life of former scientist and aerospace engineer Nambi Narayan. He was accused of espionage. The film is being produced and directed by Madhavan himself.
