Abhishek Bachchan is in full throttle to star in Amazon Prime’s original show ‘Breathe’, which marks his debut on OTT platforms. The actor reveals that his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan got quite emotional once she saw the trailer for the show. He even said that his father, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan along with his entire family was quite impressed with the trailer.
In a recent interview Bachchan said, “Everyone in the family liked it. Aishwarya had a very emotional reaction to it, she saw it a couple of weeks ago. My father and the rest of the family have really liked it and are excited about it. I think that when a member of your family is coming up with some work, emotions will override their professional ability to judge it professionally, but everyone is excited and looking forward to seeing it.”

The upcoming show titled ‘Breathe: Into The Shadows’ is a story about Dr Avinash Sabharwal, a doting father whose 6-year-old daughter gets abducted by a mysterious individual. The show deals with the theme of family and how far can one go to save their loved ones.
The show is being directed by Mayank Sharma and stars Nithya Menen and Amit Sadh in other significant roles.
The show will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video from July 10.
